Opening of New Office

25 July, 2016 – The International Concussion and Head Injury Research Foundation (‘ICHIRF’), an international initiative looking at the long-term effects of concussion in men and women who have competed in impact sports, announces it has moved to a new, larger facility at 75 Harley Street, London W1G 8QL.
The new facility will allow ICHIRF to accelerate screening of candidates as part of the ongoing concussion research study. From the volunteers who complete the online questionnaire, a number will be invited to attend a detailed medical screening, involving MRI scanning, blood tests, neuropsychological screening and a review by a number of different medical experts. The data generated from these series of tests will be analysed as part of the study to look for long term effects of concussion sustained through impact sports.
